Glides nicely – NOT chalky and dry like so many others ! Wore the lip sunscreen for a day at the beach and my lips were not chapped at all! Doesn’t taste gross, and the hydrate tube feels really lovely and no rash like Burt’s Bees gave me. I have very sensitive skin.

When picking a star rating for this review, I vacillated between a 4 and a 5 star review. Didn’t take long though for me to settle on a 5 star one because, the more I thought about it, the more I came to the conclusion that this is a 5- stars. The fact that this is quite long lasting is what did it for me.
As you can see, these look like your typical tubes of lip balm. They also pretty much feel that way when applied. They are a little bit on the damp side. Not one of those heavy waxy lip balms. The tastes are fairly decent, though not exactly up at the full 5 star level. The Cucumber Mint is my favorite one. There’s also a Naturally Naked one which is unscented and has no taste. The Cherry Vanilla is just okay. They taste as labeled without a chemical taste that some have.
Once applied, they are soothing and healing. Thin enough that they easily sink into your lips, yet they are just thick enough to keep a little bit of a layer over the top of your lips without feeling balmy. Works great under lipstick. In fact, I find that they enhance my lipstick by helping to make them a bit more moisturized. Great way to prep the lips before applying my lipstick.
Great for both men and women and also safe for the kids.

I love the concept. Maybe the Hydrate ones will be amazing but I didn’t even open it. The cucumber mint SPF is solid white. Do you really think I’m going for a run looking like this?!. It does feel soft but NO. Very disappointed in how chalky and thick this is. They should have photos and include this in the description. Also – there’s a little hint of cucumber but no mint scent at all. Very disappointing. Returning and looking for another product.

I have been using this lip balm set for a while now and I love the sun protection and hydrating properties of it!
I get what people meant about the lips turning white but as someone who is out in the beach a lot I know it is supposed to be that way. It’s a lip protection for outdoorsy people.
It’s doing a great job keeping my lips hydrated while surfing for hours.

love the cherry vanilla – looking forward to trying to cucumber. Keeps lips hydrated not waxy like similar products. I used to love SUN BUM but this product makes me a convert.

The lip balm I purchased is a little pricey, but it is so wonderful that it’s worth the slightly higher cost. I like knowing that I’m using a product that won’t harm me or ocean creatures. Even the packaging is totally biodegradable. The flavors are nice, if a little conventional. The lip balm makes my lips feel soft and moist for an hour or two, so I reapply frequently, but the container is easy to use, so it only takes a few seconds. One feature that I’ve never seen before is the way the product is dispensed. As you’re twisting up the lip balm, it makes a little click which gives you this nice little positive feedback. It keeps you from twisting it up too much by mistake.
