Doesn’t stay hot for long
Brews ok, but the coffee doesn’t stay hot in the coffee pot for long. If you wait more than five minutes to pour the remaining coffee, you will find it cold.

Better than a Keurig!
My husband is the coffee drinker and he is a huge fan of this coffee maker. It makes 2 large mugs which is the perfect amount for him. The basket is great. No paper filters needed! No Keurig cups to add to the landfills. So much better tasting than instant coffee and just as quick to prepare!

Cold, drips and mug
Very disappointing. Very very basic. It Drips after brewing, no pause and serve, doesn’t keep pot warm, but for some reason, the power stays on. BUT, If you need to fill a travel mug daily, …this is for you! Otherwise, 2 other Major brands I regret not purchasing have the most used features like warming the pot, and pause and serve.

Coffee pot is good size. No auto shut off
I like the smaller size and the lightness of it. My only complaint is no auto shut off. I should have paid more attention to that feature. I couldn’t remember if I turned it off so panicked and had to have someone go and check it. Otherwise a nice coffee pot!

Easy to make sludge coffee!!
First of all, let’s get down to basics….this is a simple coffeemaker, and it’s almost impossible to screw up making coffee. If you do, I recommend you begin using a cook pot and a strainer instead of a coffeemaker.I like that the receptacle for water is primarily one-sided…this allows for ease of pouring water into the wider opening. However, being right-handed, placing this opening on the left seems counter-intuitive. Anecdotal statistics indicate that about 90% of the population is right-handed. I know the lefties are always clamoring for equal opportunity – looks like you won this one!The water dispenser semi-locks ONTO the top of the grounds basket. As such, water is more “forced” through the grounds, and the rising water is forced through the sides of the mesh basket. As such, this really precludes the use of a paper filter, as the sides of a filter do not allow seepage like the mesh of the grounds basket, and the water will overflow the filter, carrying grounds out with it. However, without a filter, you get all that ground coffee dust, with water, creating a coffee sludge. Yes, it DOES make it through the mesh. Now, I’m no stranger to the sludge. After 15 years in the Marine Corps, I can tell you stories to curdle your stomachs, like the times we brewed in the field using black dress socks as a filter, or just boiled grounds in water and poured through a t-shirt. I really was happy to get back to the real world, and step up to the luxury of using a paper filter. I thought I had hit the big time, almost like winning the lottery! Then my coffeemaker broke and I needed a replacement….and this one was there. And so, unknowingly, I sunk back into the miserable depths of coffee sludge. And so, a toast to you poor souls out there in the same boat (or coffee cup) as me….I feel you!
