Our most requested destination

May 2026, our “Cruise with the Crews” group adventure sets sail for the stunning Exumas in the Bahamas — our most requested destination!

Known for its crystal-clear waters, powdery white-sand beaches, and incredible marine life, the Exumas are a true island paradise. We’ll swim with the famous pigs of Big Major Cay, snorkel throughout vibrant coral reefs, and explore secluded cays where it feels like you have the whole island to yourself.

Expect days filled with sunshine, laughter, and adventure — plus plenty of time to relax and soak in the beauty all around you. Whether you’re here for the thrill, the tranquility, or the chance to connect with fellow travelers, the Exumas are the perfect backdrop for another unforgettable journey with us.

Check out this video from our 1st event.

The adventure begins...
  • Day 1 (May 9th): When you arrive in Nassau, you will take a taxi to the Dream Yacht Charter base. Once you arrive at the boat, you will get settled in before our first group dinner which will at a local restaurant. Here, we will all get to know each other and discuss all the trip details over dinner.

Please arrive on Saturday no later than 3pm. We will spend the first night on the boat at the dock getting acclimated. This will ensure everyone is acclimated to their boat and ready for the adventurous week ahead.

  • Day 2: We’ll start the day with a relaxing breakfast on the dock. Following breakfast, we’ll leave the dock for our first sail to Highborne Cay, with a light lunch and a chance to catch fish along the way. Dinner will be enjoyed either aboard the boat or at Xuma Restaurant. Don’t miss the friendly nurse sharks and the talking parrot at the marina entrance.

  • Day 3: Fuel up with breakfast before sailing to Shroud Cay. There you can take the tender through winding mangrove rivers, where you’ll spot turtles, rays, and small sharks. Relax with a beachside lunch and float along the natural lazy river as the tide flows out. Later in the day we will sail to Hawksbill Cay to explore breathtaking beaches and sand dunes before returning for dinner aboard.

  • Day 4: After a hearty breakfast, we sail to Warderick Wells Cay in the Exuma Land and Sea Park to one of the most stunning anchorages in the islands. We will enjoy lunch on board, followed by swimming and snorkeling reefs filled with colorful fish, lobster, stingray, and reef sharks. In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a group hike up to Booboo Hill, explore stunning blowholes, and watch the sunset before dinner aboard.

  • Day 5: Start the day with breakfast on board before sailing to Big Major’s to feed the famous swimming pigs. After lunch, we will snorkel and explore the Thunderball Grotto, made famous by James Bond. We’ll enjoy dinner at the charming Staniel Cay Yacht Club.

  • Day 6: We’ll kick off the morning with breakfast on board as we set sail to the legendary Compass Cay — timing our arrival perfectly with low tide to make the most of this incredible spot. After a quick lunch, we’ll dive straight into adventure: swim alongside friendly nurse sharks, wade through the natural whirlpools at Rachel’s Bath, and explore the hidden chambers of Rocky Dundas Caves. If energy’s still high, we’ll snorkel The Aquarium — a dazzling reef teeming with life — before returning to the boat for a well-earned dinner under the stars.

  • Day 7: We’ll start the morning with breakfast on board before setting sail for Norman’s Cay — home to one of the Exumas’ most fascinating secrets: a sunken plane rumored to have ties to Pablo Escobar. Slip into the crystal-clear water to snorkel around the wreck and uncover a piece of history now claimed by coral and tropical fish. Afterward, enjoy lunch at MaCDuff’s or aboard the boat before cruising to Allan’s Cay. As the sun sets, we’ll savor dinner on board and end the night gathered around a beach bonfire under a sky full of stars.

  • Day 8: We’ll begin the morning with breakfast on board one final time to conclude an amazing week together. We’ll then raise anchor and sail back toward Nassau. Enjoy a final lunch aboard as we soak in the turquoise waters one last time and reflect on the adventures we’ve shared before departure.

Details about our adventure together
  • We’ll sail through the crystal-clear waters of the Exumas, moving at an unhurried pace through untouched white-sand beaches, hidden sandbars that appear like magic at low tide, and vibrant coral reefs full of marine life. Along the way, we’ll anchor in quiet, remote spots where the days feel slower and the world feels far away. From swimming with friendly nurse sharks to exploring secluded coves and small island communities, each stop offers a different side of this extraordinary place. Every stop reveals a new slice of paradise.

  • You’ll fly into Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) in Nassau. From there, it’s a short taxi ride to the Dream Yacht Charter base, where the experience begins. Once you arrive, everything else is taken care of — all you need to do is settle in and ease into life on the water. Bring cash for the taxi driver.

  • We believe in traveling thoughtfully and leaving places exactly as we found them. We follow Leave No Trace principles throughout the trip, taking everything we bring with us when we leave and moving through each location with care and respect. Our goal is simple: to enjoy these incredible places while helping preserve them for the people and communities who call them home.

  • May is one of the most beautiful times to experience the Exumas. Days are warm and sunny, with gentle breezes and calm, turquoise waters. Expect daytime highs around 84°F and evenings in the mid-70s — ideal conditions for swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding, and long days spent outdoors without feeling rushed or overheated.

  • The experience unfolds over 8 days and 7 nights, giving us time to slow down and truly settle into the rhythm of life on the water. Rather than packing each day with activities, we focus on balance — adventure when it feels right, downtime when it’s needed, and space for spontaneous moments in between.

  • The experience is priced at $5,185 for a double-occupancy cabin and includes your accommodations aboard the yacht, daily sailing, and a thoughtfully curated journey through the Exumas. Each day unfolds with intention, guided by a experience-first plan that leaves room for spontaneity.

A private chef is on board throughout the week, preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day, along with a midday snack. Fresh linens, snorkel gear, full water and fuel tanks, and final cleaning are all taken care of — so you never have to think about logistics.

More than anything, this is a shared experience. A full week spent alongside other adventure-loving people, moving through incredible places together, creating memories that last long after the sails come down.

    Your home on the water

We’ll be sailing aboard a modern catamaran provided by Dream Yacht Charter, designed for comfort, space, and ease on the water. Each cabin accommodates up to two guests and offers privacy throughout the week, with a queen-size bed, closet space, and a private bathroom.

Shared spaces — including the galley, lounge, and cockpit — are where the experience really comes to life. These open, comfortable areas create space to relax, connect, and enjoy the journey together, whether that’s over meals, sunsets, or slow mornings at anchor.

Private chefs to be announced

Our Cruise with the Crews adventure is elevated by our private chefs, who craft delicious meals prepared with care and creativity each day. From fresh seafood to beautifully plated dinners, you’ll enjoy unforgettable dining experiences throughout the trip. Our chefs will be announced soon — stay tuned to see who will be joining us in the Exumas to make this journey as flavorful as it is unforgettable.

Your questions, answered

Still have questions? Take a look at the FAQ or email us anytime at info@theadventurecrews.com. If you’re feeling ready, go ahead and reserve your spot below.

Space is limited.

  • While we would love to have any and everyone attend, this is a private group event open to those who have paid for a cabin.

  • No prior sailing experience is required to join Cruise With the Crews — in fact, this is the perfect opportunity to come and learn. Life on a boat is more physical than a typical resort stay, so a basic level of mobility and comfort around water is important. Guests should be able to navigate stairs, get in and out of a dinghy, and move around the boat safely. Throughout the week, you’re welcome to be as hands-on or as hands-off as you’d like — whether that means learning the ropes, helping with sailing tasks, or simply relaxing and enjoying the experience. A positive attitude and willingness to participate at your own comfort level are all that’s needed to help keep the trip safe and enjoyable for everyone.

  • It’s a common concern — and one we plan for. The sailing in the Exumas is generally calm, with short distances between anchorages and plenty of time spent at rest in protected waters. That said, everyone’s body is different. We recommend coming prepared with whatever motion-sickness remedies work best for you, whether that’s medication, wristbands, or natural options like ginger. We’re also mindful of conditions and pacing, and we’ll always prioritize comfort and safety. Most guests find that once they settle into the rhythm of life on the water, any initial discomfort passes quickly — leaving plenty of time to relax and enjoy the experience.

  • Provisioning costs and chef tips

We expect costs for provisioning to be about $500 per cabin. Please keep in mind that alcohol is not included and is your only provisioning responsibility.

Your private chef will prepare a full menu, including breakfast, lunch, a snack, and dinner. Your boat will be provisioned before your arrival. It is encouraged that each cabin tip their chefs 10% to 15%.

We will have a couple of meals on island during the week so you can experience local cuisine. We think $50-70 per meal is a good average.

    Additional expenses (fuel, water, moorings)

We expect it to be no more than $600.00 total per boat (cost split between all cabins) however that depends on each boat’s crew and how much fuel is used while running the generator and engines.

  • Airfare to and from the destination is not included. Boat provisions are shared and split among cabins, and there will be a few meals enjoyed off the boat at local restaurants (typically two to three over the course of the week). We recommend purchasing trip cancellation and health insurance for peace of mind. Alcoholic beverages are not included, and gratuities for the chef (details can be found in this FAQ section above).

  • These trips take a lot of time to plan with a limited amount of space available. For this reason, all sales are final. If something comes up, we will do our best to find another paying guest to take your spot but please understand this is not guaranteed. If we are able to fill your spot, a refund minus all processing fees will be provided. In the event of natural disasters or any unforeseen and/or catastrophic circumstances, the event will be rescheduled with a minimum of 14 day notice.

For this reason, we recommend each guest to purchase travel insurance.
