This summer our “Cruise with the Crews” group adventure returns to the breathtaking Abacos in the Bahamas! Known for its turquoise waters, vibrant marine life, and laid-back island vibe, this trip promises unforgettable days of sailing, snorkeling, and island hopping. We’ll explore hidden coves, visit charming local towns, and enjoy sun-soaked afternoons on pristine beaches. We'll sail through the turquoise waters of the Abacos, exploring pristine white sandy beaches, secluded coves, vibrant coral reefs, hidden sandbars, and charming island settlements. Each stop offers its unique treasures, from colorful marine life to picturesque coastal landscapes.

We follow a Leave No Trace policy, leaving only footprints behind wherever we go. Everything we bring with us is taken back, and each place we visit is left they way we found it.
Our trip is scheduled for the end of June, aligning with the start of the Bahamian summer. This time of year offers warm and pleasant weather, with average daily highs around 85°F and lows around 75°F—perfect for exploring the stunning Abacos islands.

Starting at $5,620 per cabin
A sailing and cruising lifestyle is physical in nature. The ability to navigate stairs, get in and out of dinghies, and have a level of comfort in the water is important for your enjoyment and safety on this adventure. Sailing experience is not required as this is a great opportunity to learn what this lifestyle is all about. By signing up for our group event, you acknowledge that you are physically capable. This is important for everyone’s safety.

Day 1: Arrival/Getting Settled (June 28th)
When you arrive in Marsh Harbour you will take a taxi to Abaco Beach Resort & Marina. Once you arrive at the boat, you will get settled in before our first group dinner which will be at the Abaco Beach Resort restaurant. Here, we will all get to know each other and discuss all the trip details over dinner.
Day 2: The Adventure Begins (June 29th)
We’ll start the day with a relaxing breakfast on the dock. Following breakfast, we’ll take part in a safety and sail briefing from Cruise Abaco staff. By noon, we’ll leave the dock, enjoying a light lunch as we sail five nautical miles south to Tahiti Beach. We’ll spend the afternoon swinging on the iconic sandbar swings and soaking in the peaceful island vibes. At 4 PM, we’ll pull anchor for a short sail to Soap Point, where we’ll have a beach bonfire and dinner on the beach.
Day 3: Sailing & Stunning Snorkeling (June 30th)
We’ll set sail from Soap Point to Little Harbour and stop at a stunning snorkel spot at Sandy Cay (weather permitting) to explore the vibrant underwater world of Pelican Cays Land and Sea Park. After immersing yourself in this marine wonderland, we’ll continue to Little Harbour, securing a mooring ball for the evening. We’ll end the day with a delicious dinner at the renowned Pete’s Pub, where you can savor local flavors and enjoy the laid-back island atmosphere.
Day 4: Lighthouses and Sunsets in Hope Town (July 1st)
We’ll start the day with an early morning hike to the ruins of Little Harbour Lighthouse, soaking in breathtaking views before returning to the boat.
As we cast off the mooring ball, enjoy breakfast while sailing approximately 13 nautical miles to the charming village of Hope Town. Once there, enjoy lunch on the boat before climbing to the top of the charming Elbow Reef Lighthouse to see the spectacular views of Hope Town Harbour.
Day 5: Island Vibes at Great Guana Cay (July 2nd)
Start the day with breakfast on board in Hope Town before pulling sail and heading north to Great Guana Cay. Arriving around noon, we’ll secure a mooring ball and dinghy to the island for lunch at Nippers, where stunning ocean views, a beautiful beach, and a pool await. Spend the afternoon soaking up the sun before heading to Grabbers for Happy Hour drinks. The day wraps up with dinner on the boat in the serene waters surrounding the island.
Day 6: Stingrays and Good Vibes At Manjack Cay (July 3rd)
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast on board before setting sail to the northern end of Manjack Cay, approximately 20 nautical miles away. Weather permitting, this leg of the journey will offer an exciting offshore sailing experience. Upon arrival at the anchorage, indulge in a delightful lunch on board by your private chef, followed by an awesome afternoon swimming with stingrays on the pristine beach. Unwind and savor the peaceful surroundings as the day concludes with a delicious dinner back on the boat.
Day 7: 4th of July in Paradise (July 4th)
Begin the day with an early morning move to Fiddle Cay, where the boats will raft up for the iconic 4th of July Cheeseburger in Paradise Sand Bar Party. Enjoy a light breakfast once anchored and spend the day reveling in the festive atmosphere, floating in the turquoise waters, and exploring the sand bar.
As the day winds down, we’ll set sail for Man O’ War Cay where we will anchor or moor for the night and enjoy a delicious dinner on board.
Day 8: Departure (July 5th)
Savor your final breakfast on board as we conclude an amazing week together. After breakfast, we’ll climb to the top of the charming Elbow Reef Lighthouse before sailing back to base, reminiscing on a week of adventure and incredible memories made. Once docked, we’ll fuel up the boats before saying goodbye.

Please arrive on Saturday as early in the day as possible. We will spend the first night on the boat at the dock getting acclimated. This will ensure everyone is acclimated to their boat and ready for the adventurous week ahead.
We’re so excited to return to the Bahamas and partner again with Cruise Abaco who will provide access to their amazing fleet of boats and staff. Each cabin accommodates up to 2 guests. Cabins are similar in size and layout.
You will have access to your own bathroom, a queen size bed, and closet space. Areas like the galley, lounge, and cockpit are shared spaces.
While we would love to have any and everyone attend, this is a private group event open to those who have paid for a cabin.
No, this is the perfect opportunity to come and learn! You can be as hands-on or hands-off as you would like to be for the week.
We expect costs for provisioning to be about $500 per cabin. Please keep in mind that alcohol is not included and is your only provisioning responsibility.
Your private chef will prepare a full menu, including breakfast, lunch, a snack, and dinner. Your boat will be provisioned before your arrival.
We will have a couple of meals on island during the week so you can experience local cuisine. We think $50-70 per meal is a good average.
We expect it to be no more than $600.00 total per boat (cost split between all cabins) however that depends on each boat’s crew and how much fuel is used while running the generator and engines.
These trips take a lot of time to plan with a limited amount of space available. For this reason, all sales are final. If something comes up, we will do our best to find another paying guest to take your spot but please understand this is not guaranteed. If we are able to fill your spot, a refund minus all processing fees will be provided. In the event of natural disasters or any unforeseen and/or catastrophic circumstances, the event will be rescheduled with a minimum of 14 day notice.
For this reason, we recommend each guest to purchase travel insurance.
